The Doneraile Golf course is a 9 hole Parkland course where the Par is 68.

There are seven par 4 and two par 3 holes. Large lime trees are a feature of a number of the holes.
Water comes in to play at the sixth.

 The sixth is probably the feature hole where having safely placed your drive over a river and valley the hole is a dogleg right.

Generally, the course is very dry. The land is mainly limestone with excellent drainage. The course is playable all year round.
