Doneraile Golf Club

Located at the foothills of the Ballyhoura Mountains in North Cork, Doneraile Golf Club is a 9 hole course in the Awbeg River valley. The course is set in scenic parkland with mature Oak, Ash and Lime trees blended with native and introduced tree species to create the challenging layout. The Bregogue River flows through the course making for some intimidating tee shots over the valley below. The 6th men's tee shot and the 8th tee shots both contend with this valley. The 6th hole with Oldcourt Cemetery nearby is one of the most memorable holes for most, but all holes require attention.

The course is short by modern day standards with a premium on accuracy from the tee and approach shots. The greens at Doneraile Golf Club have a long held reputation for quality and once played will compel further visits.

The course is available for open days, societies and classics with a full catering service. The bar is also suitable for functions and can be booked by contacting the club.
